Humanities and Social Sciences

Humanities are scholarly disciplines that review the parts of human society and culture. The humanities incorporate ancient and modern languages, linguistics, literature, anthropology, archaeology, classics, philosophy, geography, history, religion, law and politics, performing arts and musicology. Researchers in the humanities are “humanity scholars" or humanists.
